The haddock or offshore hake is a marine fish distributed on both sides of the North Atlantic. Haddock is a popular food fish, widely fished commercially.
The haddock is easily recognised by a black lateral line running along its white side, not to be confused with pollock which has the reverse, ie white line on black side, and a distinctive dark blotch above the pectoral fin, often described as a "thumbprint" or even the "Devil's thumbprint" or "St. Peter's mark".
Haddock is most commonly found at depths of 40 to 133 m, but has a range as deep as 300 m. It thrives in temperatures of 2° to 10°C (36° to 50°F). Juveniles prefer shallower waters and larger adults deeper water. Generally, adult haddock do not engage in long migratory behavior as do the younger fish, but seasonal movements have been known to occur across all ages. Haddock feed primarily on small invertebrates, although larger members of the species may occasionally consume fish.
Growth rates of haddock have changed significantly over the past 30 to 40 years. Presently, growth is more rapid, with haddock reaching their adult size much earlier than previously noted. However, the degree to which these younger fish contribute to reproductive success of the population is unknown. Growth rates of Georges Bank haddock, however, have slowed in recent years. There is evidence that this is the result of an exceptionally large year class in 2003. Spawning occurs between January and June, peaking during late March and early April. The most important spawning grounds are in the waters off middle Norway near southwest Iceland, and Georges Bank. An average-sized female produces approximately 850,000 eggs, and larger females are capable of producing up to 3 million eggs each year.

Yes, I generally spend 5-12 hours a day in Flash 8, but unfortunately none of it is for NG, due to contract restrictions. I do have quite a few ideas for games (worms-style, MTG-type, etc) but I just don't have the spare time to take them very far

And speaking of b/p, you should come back and give Afro a little competition. It'd be a true challenge for him.
Afro and I were both running at the same time when I was at 50k and above, and on average he had a faster pace than I did. The three big competitors on the way up were ramagi, MPA and Afro - they all had sizzling paces at one time or another, but overall in pace stats I think Afro would probably win.
As for coming back - nah, the only reason to carry on after EGSC was to reach the 100k - now I'm there I have absolutely no inclination to start again.
I just want to reach EGSC and allow my blams to pass my saves. I don't know how much farther I'll go after that.
I think my highest pace ever was around 101 per day. If not 101, then it was around 91. I forget.
Good luck with it. You should have been able to pass 101 on clock day, I'd imagine there were 500+ up for the taking

Yeah, I didn't count Clock Day, but I got 1397 during that week, which is around 199 per day. It was insane.
I haven't been off to a good start this week because of real life stuff and friends getting in the way. I'm not complaining though. :)
Just gotta keep ticking over. If RL takes priority, that's a good thing. And 1397 is impressive, D0GMA's star pace was set at 1000. I should imagine that some records were broken (probably by Afro) on Clock Day week this year, there seemed to be thousands of submissions. Kind of a shame to miss out on them, but my BPing days are over & done with

Afro got 2523 that week. It was amazing, to say the least.
